Arrive at Alicante Airport – transfers to Finestrat.

Fri 28/12

Five days of climbing commences. One day will be taken out of the programme to bag a scramble along the local via ferrata!

Weds 02/01

Transfers and depart for home.

Equipment
The kit list specifically required for this trip will be sent to you upon receiving your registration details. You will need your own helmet, climbing harness, belay plate, climbing shoes, 120cm sling plus two screw gate karabiners. And sun glasses!

Level of Experience
You will already be a climber with some experience under your belt. You may or may not be lead climbing, but certainly for those aspiring to do so – opportunities will exist to develop those skills on this course. Basic hill walking fitness will be required for the day on the via ferrata.

Roughing It
All our trips involve a degree of 'roughing it'. The accommodation we use is comfortable but by no means ostentatious: it is selected not only for high standards of hygiene and comfort but also on the basis that it is a friendly and relaxing place to be. On this trip you will be accommodated in a climbers’ lodge in private en-suite rooms of four.

  • Teaching and supervision by a UK qualified mountaineering instructor
  • Lessons covering belay skills, threading and lowering off anchors
  • 4 days of superb single pitch sport climbing
  • 1 day scrambling on the local via ferrata

  • Airport transfers*
  • Lost luggage protection with i-Trak

* Airport transfers are only available on days within the itinerary.

This price does not cover your lunch time and evening meals, nor will it cover any individual sightseeing undertaken. Other items not included: travel insurance, passports, visas, inoculations, excess baggage, additional days in-country due to flight delays, and items of personal nature such as drinks, souvenirs and laundry.
