Corona Virus Update – 11th May 2020
Given the worldwide COVID19 crisis, we think it prudent to share our position regarding upcoming courses and adventures.
First of all, your health, safety and well-being, and that of our leaders is the most important priority.
We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and based upon the guidance of the government, may issue further guidance if necessary.
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of the 10th May we are cautiously optimistic that by July we will be able to start running some of our courses and adventures again. If you book now and we aren’t able to run them, or you if you get ill, we will be able to transfer your booking to a later date or give you a full refund.
We have also been thinking hard about how we can mitigate the risk associated with COVID-19 to ensure our courses and UK adventures go ahead as safely as possible with the minimum risk of infection to you or our staff.
If any of our freelance instructors experience any Corona virus symptoms when they are due to work for us we will still pay them a wage so that they don’t feel compelled to turn up when unwell. (We’ll find alternative staff who are fit and well to run the courses instead).
Similarly, if any clients experience symptoms we will not penalise them for cancelling a course or adventure at the last minute, they will be able to transfer their booking or claim a refund.
So please feel free to go ahead and book yourself onto one of our courses and let’s look forward to a much better second half of 2020!
Take care all!
