Strengthen your team and strengthen your business

Everything from full on mountain challenges to outdoor team building activities to lighten your conference meeting – we have a team challenge event for you. Our team building activities and adventures can be designed to meet your needs and your brief. Full support is offered all the way to make your life easier. It’s a very simple recipe and one we’re good at.

Less off the peg and more tailor made

When people approach us we pride ourselves on learning exactly what it is they want. We want to offer an engaging task for your team that meets the brief exactly. When you first make your enquiry, you can expect us to ask questions like: What is your aim? How many people? What’s their background? What sort of experience do they come with? How much time have you available? So rather than bombard you with a list of activities that we like delivering, first, we work out what best works for you and your team and from there we come up with a suggestion (plus 2 or 3 other options for good measure too!)

Team Building Activities / Charity Challenge Events

From challenge treks in Snowdonia and Yorkshire to summiting North Africa’s highest mountain in a long weekend, we are confident that our fine selection of team challenge events and team building activities and adventures are varied and imaginative enough to meet your needs. We can help arrange as little or as much as you like keeping it as simple and as affordable as you prefer. We take pride that our challenges are:

  • Something to cater for all abilities offering activities that can fill 2 hours of your day to 2 weeks of your life!
  • Genuinely engaging
  • Supported and open ended – thus allowing options for all abilities

Peak District Climbing Challenge – 10 climbs, in 10 miles, in 10 hours

Can you climb 10 routes in 10 miles inside just 10 hours? Here’s your chance to try!? Join us for this excellent Peak District challenge and mini-adventure. No previous experience is necessary. We will provide all the kit, expertise and plenty of encouragement!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks – The Classic Yorkshire Dales’ Challenge Walk

Walk Yorkshire’s three highest peaks set within a 25Km route made all the more challenging with around 1000m of height gain. This challenge is ideal for all abilities since easy escape allows people to drop out at various points through the day.

Brecon Beacons – The Ten Peaks Challenge

Summit ten Welsh hill tops inside ten hours. With a little more than 20 miles to cover with a healthy 2000m of ascent this team challenge event will be a tough nut to crack. Shorter options are available.

Marsden to Edale – Tough Trans-Pennine Walk

This is a twenty five mile trek crossing some of the Peak District’s most treacherous terrain. Frequent road crossings allow the flexibility for the route to be cut short if need be: a support vehicle will be on call to pick up anyone struggling to do the distance.

Jebel Toubkal – Morocco – North Africa’s Highest Summit … In one (long) weekend!

Jebel Toubkal at 4167m is North Africa’s highest mountain. It lies within Morocco’s High Atlas and as such any trip to conquer this summit also offers an intoxicating mix of Arabian culture with an adventure that is both challenging and realistically achievable. Friday you fly in to Marrakech, Saturday we walk to base camp, Sunday we summit, and Monday we fly home – complete with big smiles!

The High Peaks Fifty – Peak District test of endurance

This is a fifty mile walk that winds its way through some of the Peak District’s most beautiful and enchanting scenery – from Sheffield to Bakewell … and back! The challenge is to complete the route inside the space of one day! However 50 miles is only the target distance – wherever people need to stop they may do so and then be picked up and returned to the start point.

Alternatively – hike 50Km inside 12 hours. A wonderful tour of the White Peak and with 1500m of height gain sewn in to this challenging hike this is not an option to be taken lightly!

The Lake District 4 Peaks Challenge

England’s four highest mountains all nestle in the Lake District. Here’s your chance to bag them all in a weekend over two tough days. Day 1 sees us to the summits of Scafell Pike and Scafell. And on the second day we finish the challenge with an ascent of Helvellyn followed by Skiddaw.

The Welsh 3000s

– The King of Challenges – Snowdonia, Wales Fifteen Welsh Mountains spanning 34 miles, 14,000 feet of ascent and all inside … 1 day. This is up there as possibly the toughest undertaking you’ll ever sign up for – beware! Possibly it is also one of Britain’s toughest 24 hour challenge walks requiring fitness, stamina and a certain kind of mindset: it makes the “Three Peaks” a mere training exercise for the boys. An alternative to make this slightly more palatable is to go light and attempt this over two or three days – still a tough nut to crack nonetheless!

The Cairn Gorm 4000s – Scotland

The Cairngorm 4000’s: Trek five peaks in the remote Cairngorm mountain range of Eastern Scotland near Aviemore – Cairn Gorm, Ben Mac Dui, Braeriach, Cairntoul and Angel’s Peak. A chair lift to our first summit will not take the edge from this mountain challenge which takes place over two days with one night of wild camping. Good fitness is required to carry yourself plus your kit over the distance and tough Scottish terrain.

“Thanks again for facilitating such a great event which all attendees positively gained from. I felt very confident in you team’s hands with respect to both safety and general organisational capability.

We particularly appreciate your planning and pre-work especially with Thursday night test run and rejigging the activities due to the weather conditions.” The BOC Group Ltd

“Getting 30+ prima donna lawyers, from different offices, out on the hills in the early hours of the morning would appear impossible – but we need not have worried. A huge part of that was down to you and your leaders … A truly memorable weekend- thank you!”
Charles Russell Speechlys LLP

“They have just arrived back into the office for a big congratulatory welcome back. They seem absolutely shattered, emotional and overwhelmed but they all said that even though it was something they would never have chosen to do, it was certainly something they don’t regret and will never forget! There’s a really great feeling in the office and everyone is really proud of their efforts … thank you for all your advice, efforts and support. They said that you did a fantastic job!”  CBS Outdoors

The Three Peaks

You may be thinking about doing the Three Peaks Challenge. We don’t do this challenge for various reasons. With around 900 miles of driving it’s not environmentally ethical; the locals in the local villages get fed up with all the noise at all hours (and with the toilet waste); and quite honestly trotting up hills by the most unimaginative routes with hundreds of others can rarely be described as adventurous, fun or exhilarating . . . we prefer to offer fund raising ideas that are truly challenging and imaginative whilst being responsible. Give us a call if you want us to offer you some ideas!
